We offer an outstanding record of building and operating quality hotels, bolstered by a special knack for turning poorly performing properties into viable, profitable hospitality ventures.
In October 1989, we acquired our first hotel, then known as the Quality Inn, on Hendersonville Road.
Since then, the hotel has won the Choice System’s Gold Award eight times, as well as twice being named Inn of the Year by the Quality Inn Hotel Systems. In 2002, following a $4.2 million renovation, the hotel was re-named the DoubleTree® Biltmore Hotel, and promptly cited as “Renovation of the Year.” The hotel has also won back-to-back “Pride Awards,” in 2003 and 2004.
In July 1994, construction of The Sleep Inn® Biltmore was completed and its doors opened to guests; that hotel is a two-time Gold Award winner.
In May 2002, Biltmore Farms Hotel Group acquired The Quality Inn & Suites® –Biltmore South and promptly reversed its course from “non-performing asset” to a performing one.
That these hotels have prospered under our leadership, while impressive, is hardly surprising. After all, the Biltmore Farms influence in hospitality dates to the early years of the 20th century when George Vanderbilt’s vision inspired one of the world’s great institutions, New York City’s famed Biltmore Hotel. It’s that legacy of excellence that we are proud to continue today.
